3. Customer Platform
Account creation
We collect your personal data when an account is created for you on our platform. We use your email address and company name to create your account. This is the only information required to create an account. The legal basis for this processing is contract initiation and contract execution to provide our products (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and our legitimate interests to process your personal data in order to personalise your experience and to maintain and improve our product (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
In addition, you may also provide us with your first and last name, your role within the company, phone number and birthday, but this is entirely optional. If you provide this information, our legal basis is our legitimate interest to personalise your experience with our product even further (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Note that if you decide to not provide us this information, we will not be able to provide you with a personalised experience.
When you want us to provide you with information from your app.orcas.sennder.com account, we will receive information from that account upon your request. If this transfer contains personal data, it will be based on your legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) to have a complete and easy to access overview of your loads on our portal.

4. GPS tracking
When you are driving one of our eTrucks, we also collect your GPS data via the vehicle that is put at your disposal to track the status and location of the freight you are transporting and the related data, e.g., to determine the time of arrival and departure of a vehicle at the loading or unloading points and to inform you about the status of a transport by providing appropriate GPS data. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR)
5. Recipients, International Transfers, Miscellaneous
We use certain service providers to provide you with the website or our marketing emails. We have concluded data processing agreements with these service providers where necessary.
We intend to transfer your personal data to the US or other third countries. We have used either the adequacy decision of the European Union or other appropriate or suitable safeguards (standard contractual clauses) to ensure your personal data is safe. You may request a copy of them by enquiring about them through the contact details above.
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
